2010 Young Writers' Reception
On March 16th, P.T. Custard was honored to be the guest speaker at the Young Writers' Reception. Sponsored by the Chesapeake Reading Council, this year's theme was "Catch the Wave of Literacy." Each class, in each grade level, in each elementary school in Chesapeake, selected one writer to represent their class. The books written by these young writers were prominently displayed at the reception. Over 1200 people attended the annual celebration of these young authors. Below are scenes from the event.
