Jules is a Bernese Mountain Dog. He was born in La Grande, Oregon. He
was adopted by his human family when he was 10 weeks old and
immediately embarked on a life of adventure.
His accomplishments include serving as a canine photographic model for
the educational book Nicholas Finch on the Trail of Discovery, traveling
cross country twice, eating a golf ball sized rock and the resultant surgery,
greeting visitors to the Pt. Loma Lighthouse and earning the appellation
"Lighthouse Dog".
A 130 pound lap dog, his hobbies include napping, squirrels, cookie
consumption, sniffing, and people watching.
