G is for Generous
28/03/10 13:50
Generous, to me, means showing kindness to others.
I am VERY generous because I show kindness to puppy Truman daily even when he is VERY annoying.
I share MY toys with him. I share MY time with him. I even share MY treats with him. I am nothing if not generous.
Let me know how you are generous.
PS - I will be taking next week off from my dictionary entry as I travel with my family from Virginia to Oregon.

F is for Favorite

The word "favorite" means something that I like above all others. Let me give you a few examples:
My favorite toy is the tennis ball. I like it better than the squeaky hedgehog or the flying disc.
My favorite food is cheese. I like it better than broccoli or peanuts.
My favorite activity is chasing the tennis ball. I like it better than bird watching or going for walks.
My favorite place is anywhere with snow. I like it better than a warm place.
My favorite season is winter, because it usually snows then. I like it better than spring, summer or fall.
My favorite person is.........well this is a tough one because I tend to favor whomever I am with at the time! You get more treats that way (see "cheese" above).
What are some of your favorite things?

F is for Friend

Friend is one of my very favorite words.
A friend is someone you want to spend time with; share with, laugh with. A friend likes you when you are happy, sad, mad, mean or generous. A friend likes you for who you are. You can fight with a friend or disagree with a friend, but you are still friends.
You are very lucky if you have a friend.
I have friends - Truman, Scout and Sadie, to name just a few - and that makes me a very lucky dog indeed!
Tell me about your friends.
YOUR friend,
Dill

E is for Easy

Webster's defines easy as:
"achieved without great effort."
If that is the case then I have easy down to an art form! I spend most of my day putting in as little effort as possible. Unless my day has anything to do with a tennis ball THEN I will put in an effort. OR if I need to discipline Truman when he gets too wild. But chasing tennis balls and snapping at Truman are second nature to me, so they too are easy.

E if for Eager

Eager is defined as:
"wanting to have or do something very much."
Speaking as a dog, I would have to say that we spend most of our lives eager. I am always eager to play ball and I am often eager to have a cookie. Truman, being a puppy and therefore new to the world, is eager about absolutely everything. I get tired just being around him and all his eagerness!
What are things that you are eager about?
Let me know in the comments below.
