M is for Moose
15/07/10 11:23
I have recently moved back to Alaska and I have moose on my mind. We don't have moose here in Juneau, but I did see moose while traveling on the Alaska Highway. They are BIG critters!!!! Believe it or not moose are considered a type of deer. They are found in many places in the United States. Below is a photo of a moose taken near the Chena Hot Springs, Alaska.

Moose is a funny word because if you see one moose, you call it a moose. If you see 100 moose, you call them moose. NOT mooses!
Have you ever seen a moose?
Until next time -

L is for Liberty
03/07/10 11:31
This week's word is in honor of the Fourth of July.
Liberty is the state of being free. Even though I wear a leash when on a walk and my people often tell me what to do, I still feel I have a lot of liberty. I am free to play with my toys when I want, go outside when I want, have a nap when I want, and get petted when I want. With all this liberty does come responsibility, however. But that is a word for another day!
Happy Independence Day Everyone!
