I am the official spokesdog for Black Plume Books. It is my job to be the smiling face of the company. Whenever PT Custard goes to book signings or readings, when allowed, I go along so that people can see my smiling face and feel good!

At Black Plume Books we also have a mascot. A mascot is:

A person or thing meant to bring good luck.

Can you guess who/what our mascot is? He appears in every one of our books and appears as my sidekick in KID CANINE - SUPERHERO!

Our mascot is.....drum roll please.......Squirrel!!!! I love to watch (and chase!) squirrels, so we thought it might be fun to feature a squirrel in our first book. Then he appeared in the second book.....and third book......and a mascot was born!

So whenever you pick up a book by Black Plume Books, be sure to look for the squirrel.
